Tres leches cake<\/p><\/div>\n

Recently we celebrated my sister\u2019s birthday and as a surprise we picked up a \u2018cake of three milks\u2019 from her favourite Mexican restaurant, La Taquizza<\/a>. It is truly heaven on a plate.<\/p>\n

Made with condensed milk, evaporated milk and whipping cream, hence the name, it is a moist wonder. It is unlike any other cake. The closest thing I could compare it to is a fantastic Jamaican rum cake, only it\u2019s completely different. It\u2019s on my list of things to bake when I\u2019m much braver, but in the meantime I recommend you try it if you ever get the opportunity.<\/p>\n
